Summary
ZTE Corporation is China’s largest listed telecommunications equipment provider specializing in customized network solutions for telecom carriers worldwide. ZTE develops and markets telecommunications equipment for fixed, mobile, data and optical networks, intelligent networks, next generation networks as well as mobile phones. ZTE wishes to expand the international business and the Nordic market is strategically important, not only for the market opportunity, but as a springboard to expansion within Europe.
The operation in North Europe is currently growing rapidly, the HQ for North Europe is based in Kista, Stockholm. ZTE Finland has identified the need for a Key Account manager for Mobile Phones to further develop our business in Finland and the Nordics. The market for Terminals is of great strategic importance to ZTE and the relations to Operators as well as partners and Retailers is instrumental in order to achieve successful business results.
Main Duties/Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Responsible for developing new business opportunities with telecom operators and retailers.
- Responsible for the development of strategic relationships between ZTE and operator and retailers at all levels.
- Manage the day to day operational and business development relationship with operator, in line with ZTE values providing direction and support and assisting with prioritization of activity in order to optimize business results and opportunities
- Achieving business development targets and budgets for all projects. Demonstrate a deep and wide knowledge of the fundamental business development principals through experience.
- Ensure that regular communication channels and forums are in place with operator, so they are up to date and fully aware of the latest products and portfolio strategies for ZTE Mobile phones and consumer products.
Project and Resource Management
Manage and co-ordinate the work and activity for you and your team (Commercial and technical) to ensure that they are working towards common strategic objectives. Responsible for all resources for Projects if you are project manager
Relationship Building and Networking
Establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with key decision makers.
Represent ZTE at relevant internal, external and marketplace meetings and events.
Reporting and Analysis
Implement a framework and report metrics to measure the success of business development opportunities.
Essential Skills and Experience
- At least 7 years experience in the telecommunications industry
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of operators, retailers and the Terminals market place in Finland.
- Good contacts and network with the market.
- Good project management skills
- Proven track record of business development and account management within large organizations
- Pro-active customer focus
- Self motivated
- Target driven and result focused – with a track record of delivering against objectives and business development targets
- Excellent written reporting skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Experience of working with different cultures and managerial methodologies.
- Experience of managing in complex environments and working in virtual teams.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience of managing external third party environments.
- Creative thinker – able to innovate and come up with different approaches and ideas
- Good interpersonal skills in terms of influencing, negotiating and listening
- Highly flexible
