About the role
As a Trade Marketing Manager, you will be an important part of Unilever's strong sales team within the Ice Cream category. You will be responsible for all marketing and sales material for this category, including world leading brands like Ben & Jerry’s and Magnum as well as our local well-known brand GB Glace.
Your responsibilities include developing and producing in-store and sales materials with advertising agencies and print houses. This requires timely cooperation with different stakeholders to ensure all elements are delivered on time and with quality. You will support our field sales team and merchandisers by producing sales tools and materials and train demonstrators, as well as plan and execute events and other promotional activities. You are also responsible of below the line (BTL) budget management.
To thrive and excel in this role, you need to be a person who is great at creating order in creative chaos – an excellent and structured multitasker who is comfortable working with many tight deadlines at once. You also need to be a person with a winning mindset who likes to work in a dynamic, high pace environment and constantly look for change and improvements to deliver on customer demands and outperform competition.
To succeed in this role, you persist a great internal drive. It also takes a special blend of ambition, people skills and commercial acumen; you’ll need to be credible and confident in front of people and have a passion for growing business, coupled with the power to influence and negotiate. It is important that you have fully developed communication skills but at the same time an analytical and result/business-oriented mindset.
What we are looking for
A University degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Marketing is beneficial
Achieved visible results within sales and/or marketing
Experience from trade marketing
Experience from FMCG is a strong merit
Experience of project management
Experience in creating production material
Fluent skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
